Essential Estate Management Duties and Responsibilities:
Property Management: Oversee the day to day operations of the estate, including coordinating repairs and maintenance, scheduling property inspections, and ensuring the property is kept in pristine condition. Familiar with building maintenance and systems.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring high performance, teamwork, and professionalism.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including landscapers, maintenance personnel, and security providers. Coordinate their schedules, supervise their work, and ensure timely completion of projects.
Financial Management: Budget planning and management, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and preparing financial reports. Work closely with the Principal to ensure financial objectives are being met.
Weekly Reporting: Comprehensive weekly report including financial overviews, completed tasks and forecast of work pending.
Event Planning: Planning and executing of events held at the estate, including coordinating with caterers, event planners, and other service providers. Ensure all necessary arrangements are made for successful events.
Staff Management: Oversee the scheduling and supervision of domestic staff, such as housekeepers, gardeners, and security personnel. Provide guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of performance.
Maintenance: Create and maintain the house manual utilizing property management software. Upkeep all vendor state licenses and certificates of insurance.
Perform Monthly Home Inspections: Visual inspection of property performed monthly, documenting conditions and identifying issues which require action.
